We are initiating a business art portal, www.rayden.in. It has been envisioned as a virtual fine art gallery dedicated to the promotion of national and international artists, providing quality and original art to established and emerging collectors in support of fine art.
The website will display the art works along with the detailed profile and achievements of all artists registered with us. The artwork, which the artists are wiling to part with, will be available for sale. Through this portal, the art collectors will view artist’s work, select and buy through Rayden Art.
Giclee is a French word to describe a fine technique of reproduction of artwork on canvas. Though the number of art collectors world over is large, there are many more art lovers who equally appreciate and wish to buy but cannot afford the original works.
We have a central facility to produce “Giclee prints” using state of the art technology to reproduce the exact replica of the original paintings, of the same size, using digital imaging process and printing on canvas.
The prints will be produced in limited quantities and will be available for sale only after the artists have authenticated them. The artists will get a royalty on each reprint sold.
We will display these prints on our web portal and at the Rayden galleries and Exhibitions. The price of the Giclee will be approximately 10% of the original cost of the painting.
Rayden galleries have been envisioned to initiate contemporary art related activities and starting a dialogue between the artist and the viewer.
We are opening Rayden Galleries in all the major cities in India in collaboration with local associates. The galleries too are designed with utmost details for showcasing the artwork. These galleries will be a platform to display and sell the original works of artists along with Giclee prints and other designer products.
We will procure different designer and art products such as crockery, pottery, small Giclees, invitation cards, wooden articles, tablemats etc. These articles will be displayed in the Rayden Galleries and will be marketed as souvenirs.
